Frequently Asked Questions

Some common questions and answers about GOeVisit SmartExam.

  • What is GOeVisit SmartExam?

GOeVisit SmartExam can diagnose, treat and prescribe for more than 450 minor illnesses ranging from coughs, colds and flu, to general medical concerns, minor injuries and pediatric care, all through a mobile app. The intelligent software dynamically interviews patients, using the patient's answers to gather more, relevant information and support providers in the care delivery process. SmartExam's artificial intelligence capabilities result in more thorough patient interviews than in-person, or video-based remote care solutions. You don't have to make an appointment, sit in a clinic waiting room, or even leave your home, office or hotel room!

  • Is virtual healthcare safe?

Yes! Virtual healthcare is influencing the future of healthcare provision in Canada and around the world. Although for critical care it is important to have in-person care, many minor conditions can be treated remotely, safely and effectively. Results from our 2017 survey showed that 94% of our patients would recommend GOeVisit to their friends and family.
