Frequently Asked Questions

Some common questions and answers about GOeVisit.

  • What is GOeVisit?

GOeVisit is a virtual medical service that allows you to connect with a Canadian medical practitioner for minor illness conditions, all through an app. Complete a quick medical assessment and a practitioner will reach out to review your symptoms and provide a diagnosis and treatment plan. If a prescription is needed, it will be sent directly to a pharmacy of choice. The process allows diagnosis and treatment of common ailments - minor illnesses and injuries including: acne, allergies, birth control, bladder infection, burn or sunburn, cold or flu, constipation, ear pain, erectile dysfunction, headache, heartburn, mastitis, mouth sores, rashes, STI exposure, sore throat or yeast infection...and many more!

  • Is virtual healthcare safe?

Yes! Virtual healthcare is influencing the future of healthcare provision in Canada and around the world. Although for critical care it is important to have in-person care, many minor conditions can be treated remotely, safely and effectively. Results from our 2020 survey showed that 94% of our patients would recommend GOeVisit to their friends and family.

  • Who is eligible?

Canadian residents over the age of 18 with a provincial health care number are eligible for the service for a nominal fee. We do not treat children under the age of two.
